Carter & Jane Everything Oil Review

What Is Prickly Pear Seed Oil?
Prickly pear seed oil is quickly becoming the most sought-after skincare ingredient and here’s why… Over any other plant oils on the market, prickly pear seed oil has the highest content of Vitamin E - think elasticity & collagen-building, antioxidant-rich, wound healing, anti-inflammatory, redness-reducing, and super hydrating. The good news doesn’t stop there. How do you use Prickly Pear Seed Oil in your skincare?
As with all skincare, it takes your skin some time to adjust to new products – usually about one to two months – before you fully start seeing results, and facial oils are no different. There was about a week of first using the oil that my face did feel overall more oily than usual. Then I noticed after consistently using the Angelic Clementine Everything Oil (am & pm) my skin’s oil production found a much-needed balance. My oily forehead wasn’t shiny halfway through the day, and my chin that’s usually very dry wasn’t flaking and itchy.
As my skin began to feel more even and supple, I noticed the redness in my skin, which has been my constant battle, slowly fading as well. The fine lines and wrinkles, mostly in my eye area, were becoming less noticeable. The thing that really has me sold, however, is that my hormonal acne that hits like clockwork every month didn’t stand a chance! I didn’t have a single breakout, and for me, this was a huge success!
Although you will want to bathe in this oil head to toe (which you can do, by the way), keep in mind that a little bit goes a long way. The consistency of this facial oil is smooth and surprisingly lightweight. The Angelic Clementine essential oils are a perfect, mild blend of sweet and citrus, like freshly peeled cuties on a summer picnic – truly angelic. I also love using my Everything Oil for facial massage and with gua sha or a jade roller for an absolutely heavenly treatment. It maintains a consistent glide and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and looking energized.
The Everything Oil comes in two sizes: a travel size of 12mL and the full size of 30mL/1 fl.oz. To save you the trouble, I will tell you now to go with the full size. Why is it so expensive?
Although the price point might seem like a bit of an investment (harvesting prickly pear serum isn’t cheap… it takes 1 ton of prickly pear fruits in order to produce just 1 liter of oil) it is well worth the cost. Depending on your specific skincare needs and concerns, the Everything Oil is essentially replacing the need for a toner, many treatment serums, moisturizer, etc. so it will actually be saving you hundreds of dollars on additional skincare products; not to mention cutting down on getting ready time with the easy all-in-one application (which, to me, is priceless). This has quickly become one of my “I can never run out of this or I will literally die” skincare products.
